Can my dog have honey?
Also covers raw honey.
Caution
Honey isn't toxic and is fine for most adult dogs in small amounts, but it's high in sugar. Raw honey can carry botulism spores, so skip it for puppies, diabetic dogs, and dogs with weak immune systems.
If your dog ate this, call your vet or an animal poison control line now.
